One day we were talking about the past and realized we both saw lots of fireflies when we were children. We shared our memories about how magical and captivating they were which inspired us to write this song.

We were in Louisville, KY and almost couldn't believe it when one summer night they appeared! We went out every night to see them in our back yard and in a large park nearby. We took videos and pictures. We couldn't get enough and they were still magical! That was a little while back, and though we still miss them, we have this song to remember...
